Infidelity costs, just ask Tiger Woods
By Alan Fein
(AXcess News) New York - AT&T dropped Tiger Woods' sponsorship Thursday following the golf guru's infidelity episode that's cost Woods millions in lost endorsements.
AT&T had been the sponsor of Tiger Woods' Tiger Jam event in Las Vegas, though the deal had already expired, AT&T said it would no longer sponsor the golf idol's event.
So far Woods has lost endorsements with Accenture and luxury watchmaker, Tag Heuer. Nike and Pepsico are still behind Tiger Woods for the present, though that could change if Tiger's image continues to drop.
The losses began after Tiger Woods alleged "car accident" on Thanksgiving Day when he ran into a tree outside his Florida estate. Days later Woods confessed his infidelity. Tiger Woods wife left him before Christmas and has taken the kids and moved into a $5 million home in Europe, leaving the golf pro to stew in his own misery.
