U.S. Money Reserve, America’s Gold Authority®, was in attendance during the 2018 Lone Sailor Awards Dinner. The event was held at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., by the United States Navy Memorial Foundation. The organization is a distinguished partner of the U.S. Navy Memorial. They work together to venerate the men and women of the Sea Services throughout history.

Esteemed team members from the company were in attendance at the seasonal dinner, such as vice president of communication and marketing Jim Warren, vice president of media Christol Farris, senior director of sales Hosea Perkins, and director of operations Jennifer Olivier. “We really appreciate the chance to participate with the U.S. Navy Memorial,” mentioned Farris. “It is truly an honor to work with a group that lets us express our deep appreciation of our nation’s servicemen and women.”

This partnership with the U.S. Navy Memorial started with the debut of U.S. Money Reserve’s special 75th Anniversary Pearl Harbor series of coins during 2016. A part of the profits is imparted to the U.S. Navy Memorial. The funds were largely sent to help raise money for a Lone Sailor statue dedicated last year at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center in Hawaii.

“The Lone Sailor is an iconic statue of a U.S. Navy member. It embodies respect, honor, and devotion to our country,” stated Olivier. “I am proud that, with our collaboration with our customers and the U.S. Navy Memorial, we can keep supporting the lives of those who dedicated themselves the most for our nation.”

“Our organization feels immensely grateful to have supported and donated to the work of the U.S. Navy Memorial,” noted Warren. “Moreover, we need to acknowledge the patriotism and dedication of our loyal audience, who make this entire partnership possible.”

The U.S. Navy Memorial’s Lone Sailor Awards Dinner is perhaps Washington’s most reputable annual event, which honors, recognizes, and celebrates award designees and the past, present, and future women and men of the Sea Services.

Every year, the Navy Memorial Board of Directors, senior Navy command, Washington dignitaries, esteemed U.S. Navy Memorial corporate partners, and important influencers come together to recognize the newest award winners during the Lone Sailor Awards Dinner.

“To have the chance to go to the Lone Sailor Awards Dinner gave us the feeling of being both humbled and proud,” Perkins, who is a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant (Desert Storm veteran), said. “As someone who’s also a veteran, I’m grateful that my firm collaborates with such an incredible institute that honors each one of our veterans.”
