The fall entertainment season has officially wrapped up. You know what that means.

The Grammy’s
February 10th, watch your favorite recording artists vie for such awards as best new artist, best song, and best album of the year.
Past Grammy winner, and recent Pulitzer Prize winner, Kendrick Lamar, leads the pack with eight nominations.
Drake follows with seven nominations, Brandi Carlile with six, and Cardi B with an impressive five nominations for her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy.”
Academy Awards
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences recently announced their nominees for the 91st Annual Oscars.

This year, eight films are vying for the coveted Best Picture Oscar, including the worldwide smash, “Black Panther.”
While, Regina King, Christian Bale, and Lady Gaga are favored to win this year’s top acting categories.

Independent Spirit Awards
Tune into the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, February 23rd, to watch your favorite indie movies compete.
This awards show airs a day before the Academy Awards and rewards the achievements of movies with small budgets.
This year’s best feature nominees include:
- “Eighth Grade”
- “First Reformed”
- “If Beale Street Could Talk”
- “Leave No Trace”
- “You Were Never Really Here.”
Oscar favorite, Regina King, is also nominated for best supporting actress at the Independent Spirit Awards.
Billboard Music Awards
The Grammy’s is one of the four highly-anticipated music award shows, along with the AMA’s, MTV Video Music Awards, and the Billboard Music Awards.
This year’s Billboard music awards is set to air on Wednesday, May 1st. Like the Grammy’s, it celebrates the best album, vocalists, and songs of the year.
While the recipient of the Billboard Icon Award for 2019 has not been announced, past winners include Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Cher, Prince, and Jennifer Lopez.
American Music Awards
The American Music Awards, or AMA’s, also recognizes the best of the music industry.
Last year’s winners include Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Kane Brown, and Cardi B.
In fact, Taylor Swift set the record last year by becoming the most awarded female recording artist in AMA history!
Emmy Award Shows
Soap opera fans will be glued to their television screens on Sunday, May 5th. That’s when the Daytime Emmy Awards will air on NBC.
The Daytime Emmy’s also celebrate the best in children’s programs, animated series, talk shows, and even award shows themselves.
Now, for the show Netflix binge-watchers have been waiting for-the Primetime Emmy Awards!
The Primetime Emmy’s acknowledge the best in TV acting, writing, directing, editing, and more.
Past winners for outstanding drama series include Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, Breaking Bad, and Homeland.
While past winners for comedy include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Veep, Modern Family, and 30 Rock.
